Kibaale District Service Commission Gets New Members

In a ceremony held today, two retired teachers with 34 years of public service experience each, were sworn in as members of Kibaale District Service Commission. Annet Nakazibwe and Marion Onyait were sworn in as members of the commission, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise.
Chief Administrative Officer John Katotoroma congratulated the new members and urged them to exhibit integrity, honesty, transparency, and confidentiality in their duties. "As you take up this new role, remember that the people of Kibaale and Uganda at large have high expectations," he said. "I implore you to uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency." Katotoroma also emphasized the importance of collective responsibility, reminding the new members that they are part of a team that serves the community. "You are not individuals, but part of a cohesive unit working towards a common goal," he said.
Edward Rukuba, Chairperson of Kibaale District Service Commission, welcomed the new members and hailed the district leadership for their efforts in constituting the commission. "None of us is good as all of us," he said, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration. He confirmed that they're ready to support the new members to carry on their mandate.
Annet Nakazibwe, speaking on behalf of the new appointees, pledged to uphold the principles of transparency, impartiality, fairness, and professionalism in their duties. "We are committed to working with the district leadership to ensure that the people of Uganda are served well," she said.
District Chairperson Godfrey Muhonge reminded the commissioners that their appointment calls them to serve diligently the residents of Kibaale and Uganda at large. "Your role is not just to serve the district, but to uphold the law and ensure that service delivery is extended within the law," he said.
He urged them to continue the fight against corruption and pledged to support the commission in their work. As the new members take up their roles, the people of Kibaale District look forward to effective and efficient service delivery. With their combined experience and commitment to integrity and transparency, the Kibaale District Service Commission is poised to make a positive impact in the lives of the people they serve.
